Mad Hattering

I get on tangents. It's a thing. I start wandering around SL looking for the *perfect* whatever it is that I'm chasing at the time. The other day, I was chasing rain coats...which I didn't find. However, I did find...

I think it's great... I nearly bought out Split Pea... I think one of the things I love about the items is their names. I'm not good with product names, I don't claim to be. I respect and adore people who are. The hat is (Don't go back to)Rockville - Dirty, and the dress is Sometimes I Just Look Fabulous.

And yes, that's a new shape...Isabelle, by Hybrid at Savoir Faire, who doesn't know it, but saved me from relentless skin searching. I've had this skin, Lisa from Insolence since I was old enough to SL walk, but I've never been satisfied. I was positive it was a skin issue, but apparently not.. Now I can say 'Eh, skin..., but check out my shape!'

I also bought The Preacher Got Me Drunk Hat...which goes wonderfully with ...

The new Toile dress from 1800-Betties! It comes in four different designs, and I got them all....

Relay for Life - Team Eternal Beacon

In honor of the people in my life who have perished at the hands of cancer, I have joined Team Eternal Beacon for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

It's seventeen prims, yeah...sorta high, I'll give you that, but well worth it! It has sort of lilac type flowers on the main hammock part, and a *Pillow Talk* pose.

Get your hammock at the main store of Shakabuku @ Ky's! or Wild and Crazy Coconut Mall on Coconut Isle and support this very worthy cause.

Breakin' my heart.....

An event today made me realize that so far, I've passed up one of my favorite new items in SL....

How cool is that tattoo? That is Alice's Heart by Aura Falta at Tacky Star, ...Slaughter City... Pucci (176, 209, 30). I'm wearing it currently with the rusty nail option, but for a less painful note, you can go with the silver ones. I recently wore this outfit to an event, but the tattoo would look great with a lot of things...and I think it sends a great message to the world... which I'm leaving open to your minds as none of you want to be bored to tears with my love life.

The dress is Mrs. Lovett, by Vanilla C. Designs, Koss (220, 118, 2080. I have to admit, I love this dress. Maybe it's my dream to be given the part of Mrs. Lovett so I can sing about meat pies. The detail makes the dress a lot of fun to wear.

I love the back laces....

After a week of building my new shop ***Shameless plug!***(Ky's!, Amberaldus(24, 172, 56), it's good to openly note my true feelings.

Hair - Magnolia Darks in Black Frost, Calla
Skin - Clara Bow in Noir Whisp, Sin Skins @ Pixeldolls

Dress - Mrs. Lovett, Vanilla C. Designs
Shoes - Retrosweet in Black, Shiny Things
Tattoo - Alice's Heart, Dark with rusty nails, Tacky Star
Earrings - Vintage Victorian in Red and Gold, luc

Semi-charmed kind of life....

I love jewelry. I think it comes from believing I was a princess when I was a kid and having to be decked out in anything shiny that crossed my path. I find jewelry matching to be a key ingredient for the perfect outfit. It's very rare that I wear the same piece of jewelry more than once in a two week period. Except...

And...

The Blue flower and Ladybird necklace and Happy clover and Ladybird bracelet from Mezzo Main Store, Baleful (48, 168, 24) are just absolute works of art. The detail involved is mind-boggling, and the other products in the store match the quality.

I realize, a week from purchase, that I've worn both of these items more than anything else I've ever had. They're such great everyday pieces.

The necklace comes in a two pack (which is actually a four pack, one of each color for spine or chest), in different colors for 85L, which is an incredible price for the detail. The bracelet comes in a stunning four pack, which actually includes eight bracelets, one for each arm, also at 85L. For another 65L, you can get a matching earring set that is multi-positional.

I'm excited about a 'coming soon' product advertised in the store right now, a three piece Bohemian set that's necklace, bracelet, and piercing. It is pre-priced at 90L and I'll be back for that one. I'm dying to try out their sandals as well, which come in boot or short sandal, but as I've already met my spending limit for the month, I'll have to wait on that.

Shoes, Shiny Things, Black Mary Jane Clogs. Bracelets, Mezzo, Flowers&Circles(Happy clover) and Eolande's, Lucky Star. Earrings, luc, Humble Blossom ear studs in gold.
